Nikki Bella is determined to establish her place in the evolving WWE landscape, but she is grappling with the challenges that come with it. Recently, she has faced criticism regarding her past relationships, which has put her in an underdog position. However, the support from her fans, known as the Bella Army, helps her navigate the negativity both inside and outside the ring.
During a recent episode of the Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki discussed a moment from WWE Raw on August 4, where Becky Lynch made a pointed remark about her breakup with John Cena. This segment, which aired live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, has been widely praised by fans and media as one of the year's standout promos.
On her podcast, Nikki addressed the 'insane burn' she received from Lynch. She had traveled to Brooklyn to wrap up her busy SummerSlam schedule and was not prepared for such a personal jab that brought her private life into the spotlight.
Nikki Bella Expresses Gratitude to Her Supporters Nikki Bella thanked The Bella Army for helping her deal with hatred
“What’s crazy is people are calling it the best promo of the year. Becky burned me, lit me up, and everyone’s saying it’s the best burn of the year. It’s wild how much media it’s gotten — but these are the moments we want, right?” Nikki reflected on the segment and expressed her appreciation for her fans' unwavering support.
“That burn was funny because I actually love it. My Bella Army, I’ve been seeing you all online tweeting me some amazing burns to throw back at Becky. I’ve been saving them because I know I’m going to need them.”
Following SummerSlam 2025, Nikki and Becky engaged in a verbal exchange during WWE Raw, where Nikki challenged Becky for the women's Intercontinental Championship. Lynch boasted about her relationship with Seth Rollins, while also referencing her past with John Cena through a signature gesture.
This incident is not the first time Nikki has faced such taunts in the ring; she has previously dealt with similar remarks from Carmella and Liv Morgan, and Natalya Neidhart once suggested that she could have been married to John Cena under different circumstances.
